Meet our dentists...
Mary Colette O’Sullivan, is known to all as Colette. I qualified as BDS (Batchelor of Dental Surgery) from Cork (Rep of Ireland) in 1993. After working in practices in Bedfordshire and Maidstone I bought Orchard House from Stephen Jeffery upon his retirement in June 1998. I have worked full time here since, other than maternity leave for my daughters Helen (2000) and Sarah (2005). GDC Number: 69033
My interest in postgraduate studies has led to the following postgraduate qualifications:
- MFGDP (Membership of the Faculty of General Dental Practice), Royal College of Surgeons London 2004
- Diploma in Restorative Dentistry, Royal College of Surgeons London 2010
-MSc (Masters) in Restorative Dentistry, Leeds 2014
My preference is, obviously, restoration of teeth, with composite (adhesive tooth-coloured filling material), crown & bridgework and dentures.
My other main interests are my dogs, who are usually found in the yard behind the practice
Floss (St Bernard) 2006-2011
Sammy (St Bernard) 2009-
Sheridan (Newfoundland) 2011-
My name is Mihir and I qualified from King's College London (GKT) in 2012 and completed my DF1 training in Lincolnshire in 2013. I've also passed my first exam to attain The Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties at the Royal College of Surgeons of England (MJDF RCS Eng).
I work full time at Orchard House, Monday to Friday and my aim has always been to provide painless dentistry at the highest standard I can. For me, this job is about empathy and understanding that being in the dentist chair is difficult and it is because of this, I try and ensure that it's as comfortable an experience as I can make it.
The team at Orchard House work together like a family and I can assure you that on entering the practice, you'll be able to see that first hand as I did myself when I started in August 2013. We're here to look after our patients and I can assure you that you won't be disappointed! GDC Number: 228566
